The Black Speculative Arts Digital Archive is an online space that houses, documents, and archive the varied manifestations of Blackness and the speculative. The purpose of this archive is to save and label AfroFuturism, AstroBlackness, and the Black Speculative arts movement.

 

BSADA firmly maintains its purpose is to continue this archive for many years as a tool to bring awareness to black speculative art methodologies and frameworks, which by nature are flexible and multimodal.

 

 The BSADA is an open source resource that works with local, national, PanAfrican, and growing communities to support, protect, and document this creative and intellectual movement. BSADA aims at controlling our own narratives.
